Full identification details in the Legal notice.
2. Applicable law
We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. What data we process and why
- Visiting the website: our hosting provider’s server logs technical data (IP address, date and time, browser and requested page) to run and secure the site. These logs are kept for a short period.
- Contact: if you write by email or direct message, we use your name, contact details and message to reply to you.
- Purchases: name, email address, postal address (only for CD shipping), phone number if you provide it, products purchased and amount. We need this data to process your order, deliver the PDF or ship the CD, and meet our accounting obligations.
- Reviews: if you post a product review, your name and text are shown. Your email address is not published.
4. Payments
Card, Apple Pay and Revolut Pay payments are processed by Revolut. You enter your card details directly into Revolut’s system: we never receive or store them. Revolut processes your data under its own privacy policy.
5. Cookies
This website only uses technical cookies needed for it to work: the cart and checkout (WooCommerce), your language choice and spam protection (CleanTalk). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
6. Third-party services
- YouTube videos: loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only when you click to play. From that moment, Google may receive data such as your IP address.
- Fonts: this website uses your device’s own system fonts. Only some older news pages still load fonts from Google Fonts; when you visit them, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
- Spam protection: CleanTalk analyses technical data to block spam.
- Gravatar: when you post a review, your Gravatar image (Automattic) may be shown.
- External links (Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, Google Drive): when you follow them, you leave this website and the other site’s privacy policy applies.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. In such cases they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Retention
Order data and accounting records are kept for the statutory period (10 years in Switzerland). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to its processing and request data portability by writing to co******@*********te.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with the data protection authority of your EU country.
