Raúl Sabiote-Sánchez graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de las Islas Baleares and the Hochschule Luzern in Switzerland, where he obtained the highest distinction in the Master of Arts in Music Performance.
Throughout his career, he has studied with renowned soloists and has collaborated with prestigious European ensembles such as the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, the Philharmonia Zürich — Orchestra of the Opernhaus Zürich — and the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra.
As a soloist, he has performed with ensembles including the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, the Palma Municipal Band “SimfoVents” and the Alicante Municipal Symphonic Band. His performances have taken him to major venues such as the Teatro Monumental in Madrid, the Palau de la Música Catalana and the KKL Luzern.
Alongside his strong background and experience as a performer, Raúl has developed an increasingly broad profile in recent years as a conductor of orchestras, wind bands and brass bands.
In June 2026, he completed the Master in Wind Band Conducting at the Hochschule Luzern under the guidance of Michael Bach and Hervé Grélat. He has also received musical impulses from conductors such as Clemens Heil, Andrea Loss, Piotr Sułkowski, Juan José Navarro, Andrea Brown, José Miguel Rodilla, Nanine Linning and José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana.
He is currently Chief Conductor of Harmoniemusik Stans in Switzerland, an ensemble with which he has been working since 2024. During the 2025/26 season, he was also project conductor of Brass Band Kirchenmusik Flühli in Switzerland, with whom he won First Prize in the 1st Category at the Dutch Open Brass Band Championships 2026 in the Netherlands.
In addition to his work as a performer and conductor, he maintains an active pedagogical profile, giving courses and masterclasses at conservatoires and festivals in Spain and abroad.
He is the founder and artistic director of D’Gata Brass Week, an international brass course and festival held in Almería, bringing together internationally renowned teachers and supporting the development of young brass talent.
